Well, I have had the absolute honor of knowing Sandy and Norm through flowers for almost 24 years .

They as a couple taught me many a valuable loving lesson... Always be kind to the one you love and NEVER have any if only's.  Like if only things were different.-------------------- NO regrets , life is for living NOW

And with that very philosophy, they lived .

Life at  the Flower shop (on any given day) just about  always included Sandy, usually for lunch and a game or 5 of spider solitaire.  And of course the stories of the day , whether it was her telling or listening , I could  always count on a good story from Sandy .

The best stories usually included her. Usually it would start with the second line ringing and its Sandy.

" Is NORMIE there?" I' m , I,'m I,' m  having a little trouble ........are you really busy??????

" Not too bad Sandy, I think only 6  weddings this weekend, "

OOOOOhhh that's great , really busy then !?"

Could you hold San? just a second ?

Oh,OK ,,, I kinda need NORMIE, but that's OK I can wait another few minutes

Well is anything wrong????

O not really much just ..... well..... "sigh" its just

"LINE 2 LEZLIE, I  got a nervous bride on the line.

OK , Norm, Sandy is on the phone for you...... Oh ok.

Hold on Sandy , Norm will be right with you.

OK.

Norm is on the line ''Really hon ?, are you OK? are the dogs with you? Ok ,

Where are you? OK I'm on my way.."

Norm to Lezlie  "gals alright , are  we on track for this weekend?

Oh sure ,Is Sandy ok?

OH Sure, she just locked her keys in the car, Its still running and the dogs are in it .. but its in the shade, they'll be ok till I get there.

she had to borrow a phone from someone at work , she lost her other phone last week.

 The flower shop has lost our  Artist in residence.

I am very grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing Sandy as a boss, a gal pal , and most of all her , Sure I can DO that style,

from watercolors , to sewing bingo bags, and making things for her precious grandchildren . She did not have the  "I cant "  genes

in her DNA.

Sandy will always embody " Zest for Life "
